SUPERINTENDENT

Dr. J. Robin Cochran, Ed.D has served as superintendent of Washington County Schools in Kentucky since 2009. After graduating from Washington County High School, she attended St. Catharine College and Eastern Kentucky University. Robin earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Special Education Learning and Behavioral Disorders grades K-12, and English and Communications grades 5-8. Additionally, Robin earned a Rank One in Instructional Leadership – Principal and Director of Special Education. Additionally, she holds certification in Instructional Leadership Supervisor of Instruction, School Superintendent and Consultant for Exceptional Children. Robin earned her Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Kentucky University.  Robin has served as a regular and special education teacher, district consultant, principal, and superintendent, as well as an adjunct professor at St. Catharine College and Midway.  In her free time, Robin enjoys reading, cooking and the beach!  Robin grew up in Fredericktown and lives in Mackville with her husband Lynn and three children – Alex, Kennedy & Jacob.
