Local Food Resources & Assistance
With the federal government shutdown impacting SNAP benefits, we understand that some of our students and families may be facing challenges accessing food and essential resources.
To help, we’ve compiled a list of local food resources and assistance programs available for students, parents, and community members.
Check out the flyer below for details on where to find support, including local food banks, meal programs, and community services.
PLEASE NOTE - The government shutdown DOES NOT affect school meals:
All students enrolled in Washington County Schools will continue to receive FREE breakfast and lunch daily.
Family Resource & Youth Services Centers (FRYSCs) located in each of our schools can connect you with community-based resources and provide information regarding our Feeding America Food Pantry.
If your family is experiencing food insecurity, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s school or our district office - we’re here to help.
Scan the QR code on the flyer or use the link here to submit a request for someone to contact you: ASSISTANCE FORM
***If you have issues accessing this form or don’t have an email address, please call the Washington County Board of Education and speak with Paula Baker for assistance.
